Sported by socialists, adopted by students and seized on by skinheads, the donkey jacket isn't the obvious candidate for the next menswear trend. But times have changed, and designers can always relied on to spruce up an old idea, no matter how humble its origins. Sachiko Okada and Aaron Sharif of the British label BLAAK were quick to nominate thier twist on the donkey jacket as the key piece from their a/w 09 collection, Man vs Machine. Saturday Telegraph
